In 2014, I spent time at the Kibbutz Lotan Center for Creative Ecology as an intern, initially drawn by a desire to study sustainable building practices and permaculture. While learning mud building, experimenting with sustainable materials, and creating graphics and signage, I found myself most inspired by the people around me. Through the lens of my iPhone 6, I began telling their stories.

What began as a sustainability study quickly overlapped with a photojournalistic one. The visual essays I created became the heart of my experience, sparking conversations, connections, and a lasting reminder that without people, there is no design.
